    Music Without Labels

    Music Without Labels

Music Without Labels is a "teaser" music portal to a much larger music industry related project called "BeatPlay". MWL is the starting point to get artists interested in the concept of controlling their own destiny in the music industry. In the end these artists will transition to the BeatPlay site where they can both share and promote their music.

    What We Did For Them

MudBrick Creative chosen as the vendor to design and develop the MWL brand. MWL needed branding assets as well as a site design to help build buzz within the music industry. They were going to events to promote their initiative and needed something dynamic to point people to.

MudBrick developed the MWL site in Rails, the site includes use of the YouTube API to plug in music videos from indie artists to share. Artists can upload directly to YouTube via the website or connect to their YouTube channel through the sites administration.

  • Wear Your Music

    Wear Your Music
    Wear Your Music

    Wear Your Music

Wear Your Music® is a company whose philosophy centers round our love for music and our desire to contribute to more than our own pocketbooks. We make Rock'n'Roll jewelry that ROCKS!

Hannah Garrison began crafting bracelets made from used guitar strings for musician friends and their families. Steve Bernstein was trying to find a unique way for guitar strings to garner advertising attention. He posted an ad on Craigslist that read: "Do you have any ideas for interesting products made with guitar strings?" Hannah contacted Steve and the Artist Bracelets were born.

    What We Did For Them

MudBrick Creative was referred to Hannah at Wear Your Music by another good customer of ours, Star Polish.com. Hannah needed a very progressive music industry related site design for her WYM property. It was going to be MudBrick's job to work with her current developer to deliver a top quality look and feel for the front end of her site and assist in wiring it up to the Wear Your Music eCommerce solution.

In addition to the website WYM needed HTML email campaign capability. They needed a Email newsletter that would grab the customers attention and get them to take a look at what WYM has to offer.

Over the course of several weeks MudBrick delivered everything WYM needed and then some. Having knocked out the design MudBrick was then tapped to take over the development and support of the WYM online application. To this day WYM is still a top customer and becoming well known in the music industry.

What The Customer Had to Say

If you are a web designer or programmer I am your nightmare client. I have limited knowledge with regard to the world of web design and programming and ridiculously high expectations. I expect the impossible and I want it done yesterday. Luckily, I found MudBrick. Did I mention that I have never, in all of my projects, found a web designer that I actually liked? Until now.

Working with the staff at MudBrick has been a pleasure. And I have never even met them. Paul, Tyler and Curtis are the folk you'll get to know quite well. They do all the work themselves, so there is no outsourcing. Way to go keeping jobs in the USA, MudBrick! And they even speak non-tech, for morons like me! Between the three of them, you really can't go wrong. If I can work with them, anyone can.

    Star Polish

At StarPolish, we are dedicated to educating and empowering artists, with an emphasis on artist advocacy and artist development. We are also committed to supporting the arts by rewarding and highlighting the most hard-working and deserving artists.

StarPolish is a collaborative effort between artists and music industry professionals.

    What We Did For Them

MudBrick Creative was tapped to handle the redesign and development of the new look for StarPolish.com. One of our first tasks was to build into the current CMS a integrated multi-user blogging system where users could sign up for an account and create their own blog on the site. In addition StarPolish wanted it's users to be able to edit content in a somewhat Wiki-fashion. MudBrick redeveloped the CMS portion of the site to handle this type of content editing as well.

Finally it was our job to redesign the site and give it a more progressive and artistic look and feel. To this end we worked with the StarPolish team and during the concept phase nailed exactly what they were looking for.

Brainstorm Creative is a specialized marketing company that handles alot oftheir marketing campaigns via use of comic book themed print pieces and now interactive online comic style applications.

    What We Did For Them

MudBrick Creative was contacted by Brainstorm Creative to act as a vendor for the production of a Youth oriented landing page/site for a marketing campaign Compass Mark had signed on for. The campaign was a set of comic books that would be distributed to schools that discuss addiction. The students would then be able to get the "rest of the story" from the online site where a interactive comic would be viewable to tie the story together.

MudBrick developed the website concept and interactive elements for the site to deliver a fun and teen oriented experience. MudBrick worked with Brainstorm to develop all assets and tie in outside vendor work. This included voiceover audio for the comics as well as comic artist collaboration to get the pieces needed for a truly interactive experience.

    6 Month Smiles

Six Month Smiles™ utilizes clear braces to gently straighten teeth in an average time of only six months! By focusing on the teeth that show when you smile and not making significant bite changes, your dentist can comfortably straighten your teeth and give you the attractive, pleasant smile you've always wanted.

Six Month Smiles™ is conservative, inexpensive, and highly effective. It may sound "too good to be true," but thousands of people around the country are living proof that this is real!

    What We Did For Them

MudBrick Creative was contacted by 6 Month Smiles to help deliver an entirely new web presence for them. This included a redesign of the site, changes to site structure and content management system for maintenance.

6 Month Smiles needed to reach a broader group of users with their new site. They not only want to grab the patient but also the Dentist who may be in the process of deciding on a solution. To accomplish this MudBrick designed a site that is clean and functional and yet still creative. The site will be content managed by our .NET CMS 4Site (www.4sitecms.com). As part of the project a online testing application was needed to provide a questionnaire to users to decide if 6 Month's product is right for them. The site also includes video content, flash and online forms for various site interactions. Integration of an online forum system for dentists to use was also a high priority.

    Tri County Regional Planning Commission
    Tri County Regional Planning Commission

    Tri County Regional Planning Commission

The idea of "regional planning" is not new to the Capital Region. The evolution of regional planning began over forty years ago in 1956 with the formation of the "Regional Planning Commission of Greater Harrisburg".

Organized under the leadership of Nolan F. Ziegler, then Mayor of Harrisburg, the regional planning commission comprised various representatives from the City and surrounding townships and boroughs in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. At the time, the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Harrisburg was a cooperative organization, which coordinated planning services and activities where mutual problems, issues and concerns overlapped municipal boundaries.

    What We Did For Them

MudBrick Creative was chosen to handle the redesign and development of the TCRPC website. This includes custom design and integration to Dauphin County's existing CMS system for maintaining the website.

MudBricks first task was concept work to get a clean and crisp look and feel that tied directly into the region and at the same time would work well to deliver a lot of content. As part of the project MudBrick will be doing a Flash presentation piece to help better explain the TCRPC's relationship to the different governing bodies at the county level.

    4Site CMS - 4SiteCms.com

Every good content management system needs to do one thing well, create and edit content. In addition to being able to update content your CMS needs to be easy to use so that your sites changes can be done by anyone who has used a standard office word processing application.

What We Did For This One

MudBrick Creative one day decided we needed to have our own internal platform for content management. We got tired of trying to integrate to "off the shelf" applications and not getting the results we truly wanted. In the end we noticed that there weren't a lot of really good solutions for CMS on the Microsoft .NET side and thought this was a perfect opportunity to create one. After months of development the application was ready for primetime and we needed a website to promote it.

The 4SiteCMS.com website was our vision of a dynamic site with the content we need to deliver to developers/users in one shot. We went with a one-page site with video content and all the basics. In the end the site came out how we had hoped and will be undergoing updates soon to discuss new features and include new video content.

    What We Did For Them

MudBrick Creative got a call from Val and Emiliano to help them develop a custom content management system to be able to handle the many needs of their He-Man community. The system needed to allow users to be editors as well. The userbase was going to be much more involved with the sites day to day maintenance similiar but not entirely like a Wiki. The permissions based system would allow used to make edits, create collections of toys, create toys, add to the encyclopedia, translate content to other languages and create tons of content.

MudBrick assisted the He-Man team in getting their design into the CMS and getting it functional and where it needs to be to help grow this community.
